Betterment is one of our favorite tools for managing your long-term investments. Now it’s getting, well, better. You can now integrate your checking accounts, credit cards, and external investments to see your whole financial health.
A new update rolling out to Betterment today will allow you to integrate your external accounts, much like you can with Mint. Unlike Mint, Betterment will let you know where you have idle cash sitting around that could be invested, and it will also let you know which accounts are costing you too much in fees. Betterment will now be able to show your overall net worth and make plans based on both your income and debt levels.
Betterment already allows you to automatically invest extra cash, so this pairing makes the service much better for investing. You can immediately see at a glance where your money can be best allocated to improve your long-term finances.
