Cara Delevingne is reportedly engaged after witnesses spotted the British model proposing to her girlfriend at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The model and musician St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) spent some time in the City of Lights earlier this month. An onlooker told The Sun: “There are two lifts going up the tower and they were in the one ahead. As my group got out of the lift I could see Cara on bended knee, clearly proposing to her girlfriend. It was really touching. Cara obviously likes to do things traditionally.”
It’s rumored that the pair is living together in Paris while Delevingne is filming the upcoming sci-fi action flick “Valérian.” A source close to them revealed: “They won’t both be there all of the time, as Annie will have gigs and Cara has other commitments, but they see it as their first place together.”
Delevingne, 23, and St. Vincent, 33, reportedly started dating in December 2014. They went public with their relationship in June 2015. The model told Vogue at the time: “I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle.
“It took me a long time to accept the idea (of being attracted to women), until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it.”
That month, St. Vincent posted a photo on Instagram of a note that read, “Marry me, Annie Clark,” to which she responded, “Ok…”
Delevingne travels often between Los Angeles and New York City, where St. Vincent resides. The couple wore matching rings on their wedding fingers during Paris Fashion Week in October.
