If Donald Trump becomes president, there are a handful of celebrities who claim they’ll move out of the country.
Whether you like or hate Trump, his front-runner status as the GOP presidential candidate astounds. The sheer marvel of his popularity has many worried.
Top Right News reports that some recognized names are ready to bail if Donald Trump becomes the next President of the United States.
It’s no surprise that Rosie O’Donnell is first on the list of celebrities claiming to move out of the U.S. if Trump is elected. Her destination would be Canada.
Cher sarcastically insists she’ll move to Jupiter while Eddie Griffin names Africa as his next home. Samuel L. Jackson says he’ll move to South Africa and Jon Stewart will head to another planet. Maybe he’ll join Cher on Jupiter.
Barry Diller has no destination in mind as of yet. Omari Hardwick would flee to Italy.
Jennifer Lawrence was perhaps the most dramatic by stating that if Donald Trump ever becomes the next president, the world would end.
The report goes back to the fact that several other Hollywood stars once declared they’d move if George W. Bush ever became president. Those celebrities included Alec Baldwin, Cher, Eddie Vedder, and Pierre Salinger (former JFK Press Secretary).
Salinger was the only one who followed through.
According to Downtrend, Al Sharpton has promised to leave the country if Trump wins the election.
“If Donald Trump is the nominee, I’m open to support anyone, while I’m also reserving my ticket to get outta here if he wins, only because he’d probably have me deported anyway,” said Sharpton.
A lot of people are making big promises if Donald Trump becomes the next president. How many others will follow suit? What if Trump trounces the other GOP candidates on Super Tuesday? Look for more hysteria to come down the pike.
