Teresa Giudice is busy promoting her new book, Turning The Tables, and she stopped by Watch What Happens Live to talk about her time in prison. Of course, Giudice is coming out of prison with little money in her pocket, so some reports were speculating how much she was getting paid for the interview.
According to a new report, Teresa Giudice may not have cashed in from her interview with Andy Cohen. Teresa sat down with Andy for an episode of Watch What Happens Live and fans were able to ask her anything. And despite putting everything on the live, Teresa did not bank $350,000 for her appearance. In fact, Andy Cohen set the record straight, saying that they did not pay her a dime and that she was coming on to promote her book.
But Teresa did deliver during the interview. According to Radar Online, she gave gruesome details about the conditions of the jail and about her emotions as she went to prison. Of course, these details are also included in her book.
“I was numb. I was going through the motions. When you first get there, they strip search you. You have to bend down, cough, something I had never done before. I felt humiliated,” Teresa Giudice revealed during the interview. “I get to my room. I met the other girls in my room. They were really nice.”
And while the girls were very nice, she wasn’t happy with the accommodations. While it wasn’t the worst prison to stay at, it wasn’t the cleanest. “There [were] urine stains and blood stains on the mattress. It was disgusting. The other girls helped me make my bed, I was exhausted,” Teresa told Andy about her time in the prison, according to Radar Online.
What do you think about Teresa Giudice’s interview? Do you think she should get paid for dishing the details?
