The Dancing with the Stars Season 22 cast reveal is just a few days away. Fans are anxious to find out which celebs will be competing for the Mirrorball trophy and who their pro-dance partners will be.
One pro who won’t be returning to the ballroom when DWTS premieres on March 21 is Derek Hough. In fact, it’s a double-no for the Hough siblings, with Derek’s sister Julianne leaving her spot at the judges’ table for at least one season.
Derek won his sixth season of Dancing with the Stars with his celebrity partner Bindi Irwin last November. According to People, he is “taking a break” from the show, but he won’t be ditching his dancing shoes. He announced on Instagram earlier this week that he is headed to Broadway where he’ll star in “Singin’ in the Rain.”
On March 8, DWTS host Tom Bergeron will formally announce who the Season 22 celebrity dancers are — along with their pro partners — on Good Morning America. Although there have been a number of rumors as to who will be dancing this season, two celebrities and two pro-dancers have already been confirmed.
On Wednesday, Fuller House star Jodie Sweeten revealed on GMA that she is part of the cast and will be dancing with Keo Motsepe. Last week, ET confirmed that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Fields will be on the show, so fans can expect a formal announcement from the former Facts of Life star in the coming days.

Other than Keo Motsepe, only one other pro-dancer has been confirmed by ABC – Edyta_Sliwinska. Last season, ABC revealed several pros ahead of the GMA reveal, so fans can expect more announcements in the coming days.

Still on the rumored list for Season 22 are Orange is the New Black actress Taryn Manning, Bachelor Ben Higgins, Chasing Life star Italia Ricci, Olympic Gold medalist Dominique Moceanu, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown, and N.Y. Giants RB Rashad Jennings.
Judge Len Goodman has confirmed his return to the judges’ table along with Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews will also be back for another season.
Watch the full cast reveal on Good Morning America on March 8 followed by the DWTS Season 22 premiere on March 21 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
