Jodie Sweetin has joined the cast of Dancing With The Stars! According to E! News, the Fuller House star will be competing on Season 22 of the hit ABC show, taking dance lessons from the super-talented, Keo Mostepe. The actress seems super excited about the opportunity and it sounds like she’s really ready to bring it!
“I’ve always loved to dance, and Stephanie was a dancer on the show [Full House], and I danced growing up. I have some experience. I have some rhythm,” Sweetin said.
Of course, Jodie Sweetin’s on-screen big sis, Candace Cameron Bure, was on Dancing With The Stars previously, and made it pretty far with her dance pro partner, Mark Ballas. Bure is ready to cheer on Jodie… and says that she will try her best not to “take over!”
“I am so ready; I am more than ready. I am just there. I will try not to take over for her because I might nudge myself back onto that dance floor,” Bure said.
Interestingly enough, Dancing With The Stars pros (and bros) Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy made a cameo on Season 1 of Fuller House (Netflix). The guys played themselves and were part of a (wait for it) dance/club scene. They seemed to have a lot of fun — and even showed off their sexy shirtless bodies at one point!
After watching that episode, it became more clear that the rumors surrounding Jodie Sweetin on DWTS were probably true. The official announcement was made on Wednesday, March 2.
According to Us Weekly, the rest of the cast will be announced on March 8.
Dancing With The Stars Season 22 kicks off on March 21.
