Mark Zuckerberg has reacted to Kanye West’s over-the-top tweet requesting that he donate him an obscene amount of money. The 38-year-old rapper has announced to the world that he’s $53 million in debt and wants one of the richest men in the world to give him money instead of giving to those who desperately need it.
Kanye West recently asked Mark Zuckerberg via Twitter to “invest 1 billion dollars into” his ideas.
“Mark, I am publicly asking you for help,” one of his many unbelievable tweets read.
He also tweeted on Feb. 14: “Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw…”
The posts went on and with Kanye West practically begging the Facebook CEO for money. He went on about how much he knows Zuckerberg likes his music and wants him to show his support by throwing wads of cash his way.
“Dear Kanye West: If you’re going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don’t do it on Twitter,” Grimm’s Facebook post read.
Mark Zuckerberg “liked” the comment. The post is no longer seen on Grimm’s Facebook account, but some screen shots of it were taken, as seen here.
Complex noted in its report that maybe another hidden message here was that Kanye should’ve tried getting Mark’s attention on Facebook, not Twitter!
It’s unclear why the post was removed. Maybe after the media got wind of it, and once working for Zuckerberg himself, Grimm felt it best not to exploit the situation further.
Was Mark Zuckerberg unhappy with Kanye West for asking him for a billion to invest in his “ideas”?
