If you have a touchscreen Windows 10 device like a Surface, OneNote can now recognize handwritten math equations and will even help you figure out the solutions.
The new math coach will convert your writing to text and then will suggest the next steps for solving the equation. (I’d assume it only works with simple algebra; sorry, quantum mechanics professors looking for a math shortcut.) The feature is available to Office 365 subscribers using OneNote for Windows 10.
