Scott Disick is reportedly in negotiations with ABC execs to appear on “Dancing With The Stars.” But talks are stalling because the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star wants $500,000 to join the cast.
TMZ reports that network execs previously approached the reality star to join the talent competition, but he declined. However, the reality star is rethinking the offer and wants a hefty paycheck in order to appear.
Producers reportedly told Disick that stars receive the same amount; however, the “strict policy” has been contested. Disick was allegedly offered $125,000 to sign up with the possibility of earning an additional $345,000 if he survives until the finals.
Disick, 32, is firm about the salary and reportedly won’t participate in the 22nd season unless he earns half a million dollars. Rob and Kim Kardashian competed on the program in 2011 and 2008, respectively.
Ironically, Disick recently appeared on “Kocktails With Khloe” in which he said that money doesn’t make him happy.
“At the end of the day people say focus on work, make more money. I have money,” he revealed. “The more money I have, the less happy I am. So the only thing I’m trying to focus on is just calming down, and just focusing on the kids, and just trying to be a good dad.”
Over the past year, Disick made headlines for going to rehab and splitting from long-term partner Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he has three children.
