Dude Defends Why He Takes Up Two Parking Spaces. Do You Agree With His Reason?

The asshole that purposefully takes up two parking spots. It’s a rare art form but one that certainly doesn’t go unnoticed because people love to take photos of these jerkoffs, leave pissed off notes on their cars and even report the incident to various Facebook pages like Parking Like A Twat. One driver however, who loves to park like a twat says he has his reasons for doing so. No, it’s not because he has urgent business to take care of or needs to take a dump somewhere so badly he couldn’t even think straight, it’s more important of an issue than that…or so he says.

And he’s not apologizing for it!

24-year-old Luke Varley says that he’s sick and tired of getting his car dinged and scratched up from other drivers that don’t know how to open their doors. So much so he’s willing to just piss everyone off so they will just stay away.

“I can see why people get annoyed when they see it. Someone who just can’t park properly is annoying but that’s not what I’m doing.”

He added: “It was with my old Astra that I started parking like this as I used to park normally but after washing it I noticed that it had really bad scratches and dents on the side of it.”

That’s not an unfair statement but you would think parking like an asshole would actually cause people to want to scratch the shit out of your car, I dunno, even more! But Varley says he tries to not do it every single time, only when there’s plenty of space in the parking lot so he makes 100% sure no one parks next to his precious ride.

“If there was a real shortage of bays available then I might not do it as I would see why people would get annoyed. A lot of the time it’s because they don’t even care about their own car. If they don’t give a damn about their own, or know how to drive it, they certainly won’t care about denting yours.”

Haha, the British call parking spots “bays”. That’s hilarious.

So do you think Varley’s reasoning is appropriate? Or is he still just an asshole for thinking his car is more important than the time it takes for you to find another parking spot?
