Luann de Lesseps was furious on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York, as she was called out for her hypocritical behavior. Luann was called out for sleeping with several guys and she had no respect for Ramona Singer, who had dated her current fiancee Thomas before Luann had gotten engaged to him. As de Lesseps revealed on the show, “BL – Before Lu” didn’t really matter to her. She didn’t respect “girl code” at all. But what about her co-stars? Does she have respect for them? According to a new report, Luann de Lesseps is now reflecting on her conversation with Jules Wainstein, who was dealing with her father’s illness.
“I think that hostesses have a responsibility to manage their guests, so when I talked to Jules on Dorinda’s front porch, I was still reeling from my encounter with Bethenny. I realize now that she was distracted with her father’s health issues and that I should have been more empathetic to what was going on with her instead of focusing on me, but I was under attack. She’s right, fighting with Bethenny is not life and death, it’s optional!” Luann de Lesseps points out, sharing that she could have been a bit more sensitive.
“When I’m wrong, I admit it, and I sent Carole a text re-apologizing for things I’ve said in the past. To Bethenny, I sent a text saying I was sorry if I miscommunicated my role in naming her brand. I was there with her at the time and that is all I was saying. As for Carole, I don’t know what else I can do if she doesn’t accept my apology. I was ready to move on, and I was trying to salvage what was left of the weekend,” Luann de Lesseps reveals in her blog.
Luann did make an effort in sending some text messages, but they may not mean much given how she didn’t really care about the apology.
What do you think of Luann de Lesseps’ comments about Jules? Do you think her apologies were genuine?
